WHICKHAM FELLSIDE YOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB 
2009 GOLF DAY 
The Second Annual Golf Day was held on FRIDAY 25th SEPTEMBER 2009 once again at Whickham Golf Club. The Event was another tremendous success with 28 Four-Balls competing. Results were as follows: TEAM WINNERS: Dave Nelthorpe's Team with 125 points (S. Sibbald, D. Nelthorpe, K. Old and J. Taylor)  
INDIVIDUAL WINNER: J. Taylor with 41 points. NEAREST THE PIN WINNER: Andy Jobson, 4 metre 42 centimetres on the 17th. LONGEST DRIVE: John Cairns on the 8th with a huge drive. TWO'S COMPETITION WINNERS: M. Douglas, G. McIntosh, G. Pugh, B. Riley, T. Martin, D. Bone, G. Burn, J. Taylor, C. Mowatt, G.G. Smith, A. Charlton and R. May all received £14. Prizes and Trophies were Presented to the Winners in the Club House by our Chairman. RAFFLE: Raffle Results were as follows: 701-705; 906-910; 556-560; 86-90; 236-240; 296-300; 696-700; 11-15; 231-235; 411-415; 381-385 and 646-650. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS. 
MANY MANY THANKS TO EVERONE WHO CAME ALONG AND HELPED ON THE DAY AND PARTICULAR THANKS TO THOSE WHO SPONSORED HOLES, PLAYED AND SUPPORTED THE EVENT GENERALLY! The 2010 Event has been provisionally booked for FRIDAY, 24th SEPTEMBER, a date for your diaries! _________________________________ THE 2008 GOLF DAY Our Club held its First Golf Day on FRIDAY 18th JULY 2008 at Whickham Golf Club. The Event was an overwhelming success with many complimentary comments. Results were as follows: 
TEAM WINNERS: Historical Property Restoration Ltd (Steve Upton, HPRL above) with 120 points (S. Upton, K. Dunn, A. Cheshire and P. Hixon) INDIVIDUAL WINNER: K. Nisbett with 40 points (B. Lamb, S. Upton and
P. Barrett also scored 40 points, K. Nisbett won on countback) NEAREST THE PIN WINNER: A. Brown, 1 metre 35 centimetres on the 17th LONGEST DRIVE: P. Envy on the 8th TWO'S COMPETITION WINNERS: M. Newham, S. Upton (twice),
P. Henderson, G. Burn, P. Envy and A. Brown, all received £20 Prizes and Trophies were Presented to the Winners in the Club House by our Chairman.
