Congratulations to Dunston UTS Our Northern League Division One neighbours Dunston UTS were successful in winning the FA Carlsberg Vase Trophy at Wembley on Saturday, May 12th. Ben Cattanach, their Captain, was a player with our Club when he was 17 and 18. _______________________________________________________ 2012 Annual Presentation Night  Presentation Night in 1983!The 2012 Annual Presentation Night will be held on SATURDAY, 26th of MAY 2012 again at the LANCASTRIAN SUITE. This year the Club will ask Coaches how many places they require and then issue tickets to cover those places with the payment made at the same time. As in previous years the £5 ticket price is for adults only, no players or siblings are charged! Further details were given to Coaches at our last General Committee Meeting, including the names of your players and those up for Individual Awards and also any pictures you may have for the Powerpoint Presentation. Coaching Sessions at Watergate Park 
Whickham Fellside Y.F.C. are now wanting to establish new under 7's age group teams in preparation for the new summer football season, which starts in June 2012. Aimed at boys and girls who are currently in school year 1, aged 6 years old. Having used the winter period coaching the 'Development Group', the next stage of progression is to form new teams to play in non competitive football in the Gateshead Youth League. Players from the Development Group, and any other boys or girls who are wanting to get involved in local youth football, are invited to attend these follow-on coaching sessions. Any players wanting to join or remain in the 'development group' will also be offered continued coaching sessions during the spring and early summer period. These sessions are being delivered by FA qualified coaching staff from within the Club, using the clubs outdoor facilities at Watergate Park. If your child is wanting to get involved in local youth football, just turn up to any of these coaching sessions. 2011 Annual Presentation Night The 2011 Presentation Night took place on SATURDAY, 4th JUNE 2011 again at the LANCASTRIAN SUITE. This event is the highlight of our year and was magnificently supported by our teams, their parents and families, it was a real Family Night out. Dave Nelthorpe and Kevin Thompson compered the night itself, which included a Raffle and Auction, including fundraising for the Macmillan Nurses; the evening closed with a great Disco. Trophies were presented to every player and individual awards to the Most Sporting, the Most Improved and the Player of the Season for every age group were well received and greatly deserved. The Lorenne Barber Memorial Award went to CHRISTOPHER BRIERS of the U12 Blues and the final award of the David Watson Memorial Cup went to LLOYD MILLER! Many congratulations to everyone who received awards and thanks to everyone who assisted in making the night so very special!
