WHAT A NIGHT!! The 2009 Presentation Night was held on SATURDAY, the 13th of JUNE 2009, at the LANCASTRIAN SUITE, DUNSTON. Wonderfully controlled and compered by DAVE NELTHORPE and STEVE BURDIS, ably assisted by SEAN RENNER on the Disco. Many many congratulations to everyone within our Club for all the work done during the last season. The same congratulations to everyone who received Individual Awards as well and also the recipients of the Lauren Barber Memorial Trophy and the Chairman's Shield. A True Night of Celebration and many thanks also to everyone who supported us! ____________________ REMINDER to Coaches and Assistants: our Club A.G.M. will take place on Sunday 5th of July 2009 at the Bay Horse, Upstairs Lounge, commencing at 7.00p.m. ___________________________________

___________________________________ SUMMER SOCCER FESTIVAL
We held a Summer Soccer Tournament over the weekend of June 6th (U7s and U9s) and 7th (U8s and U10s) at Watergate in Lobley Hill. This was an outstanding success due to the work done by many individuals in organising it and others who assisted over the weekend. Many thanks to everyone who helped. U10 Group Winners were HEXHAM JUNIORS

The U7 and U8 Groups were Non-Competitive. Congratulations to all the Winners, Runners-up and everyone who participated, we hope you had a good day and we will hold another Summer Festival in 2010. ___________________________________ SUMMER SOCCER TRIALS
Once more our very popular Summer Soccer Trials will take place in June and July. The dates are Sunday June 21st and 28th and July 5th from 10.00am until Noon. These sessions are part of our community work and will enable new teams to be formed as well as other teams added to; age groups are from Under-6 to Under-10; however we are always interested in anyone wanting to join or find out details about our 11-a-side teams as well. Special ''GIRLS ONLY'' Sessions are being organised separately at the same time, same venue. These are part of our Girls Football Development currently being organised within our Club. Further details can be obtained from JON GRIEVES on 07708850849 or from DAVE NELTHORPE, our Club Secretary. New Under-7 Mixed Team and Additions to Under-13 Girls Team for Next Season
Our Club are looking to set up at least one Under-7 side for the start of next season, September 2009. We need players who may be interested who are Under-7 on that date and we intend to set up Coaching sessions at our Summer Soccer Trials (see above details) to prepare for next season. What we also need is a Coach or Coaches to take these teams; and we will offer Full F.A. Training and Support to anyone interested.
